Silicone Curing Agent (2,5-Dimethyl)
2,5-Dimethyl (C32H66O2) contains a small amount of sulfur, with fast vulcanization speed, no volatilization and no fire hazard. It is suitable for crosslinking of vinyl silicone rubber, polyethylene, and ethylene-propylene rubber. It meets the environmental protection standards for molded products made of various silicone materials, such as silicone buttons, bracelets, mobile phone cases, watch straps, silicone gifts and other fields.

Active substance: 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)hexane (DBPH)
- Type: Organic peroxide curing agent
- Application: Only for HTV solid silicone
Not suitable: LSR liquid silicone, food‑grade direct contact, high‑transparent products
Key Features
- Peroxide silicone products have a longer shelf life.
- It is a cheaper material to produce than platinum silicone. This means that silicone extrusions like rubber tubing and silicone sheeting can be sold at more competitive prices.
- It is easy to process and can be cured at lower temperatures as they have a lesser tolerance to heat.
- The curing process will improve the compression set performance of peroxide-cured silicone rubber.

This agent is inflammable and volatile. Please be careful during operation.

Usage & Storage Notes
- Avoid contact with rust, heavy metal compounds, metal salts, desiccants, etc.
- The agent has high vapor pressure and is easy to volatilize; it must be kept sealed when not in use.
- The silicone rubber mixed with the curing agent should be used up within 12 hours; otherwise, the curing rate will be affected.
Shelf Life
6 months at room temperature (unopened).
Storage Requirements
Keep in a dark and ventilated place, away from light and fire. Store at 20℃~25℃ (unopened) for 6 months.
