PTFE Surface Treatment Agent | Teflon Etching Solution for Better Bonding
Introduction
PTFE (Teflon) is widely admired for its outstanding heat resistance, chemical inertness, low‑friction and anti‑stick performance. However, its ultra‑low‑surface‑energy property creates a major challenge: ordinary glues and adhesives cannot form reliable bonding onto PTFE / Teflon surfaces.
Our PTFE Surface Treatment Agent is a naphthalene‑sodium based etching solution, specially developed to modify inert fluorine‑material surfaces. After simple treatment, PTFE, FEP and PFA parts can achieve strong adhesion with epoxies, instant adhesives, silicone glue, and double‑sided tapes. It is a patented practical solution for industrial manufacturers struggling with Teflon bonding failures.
How It Works
This treatment agent chemically etches the PTFE surface. It breaks partial C‑F bonds and introduces active chemical groups on the material surface.
