Internal Silicone Anti-Static Agent
1. Product Introduction
Internal silicone anti-static agent is a permanent functional additive specially formulated for solid HCR silicone rubber, liquid LSR silicone and RTV silicone. It is mixed evenly into silicone raw materials before vulcanization. After molding, the conductive components slowly migrate to the product surface and form a continuous conductive network, which continuously dissipates static charges on silicone surfaces. It solves problems such as dust adsorption, surface sticking and electrostatic breakdown of electronic components. The anti-static property lasts the whole service life of silicone goods, applicable to electronic, semiconductor, medical and food-contact silicone products with long-term static control demands.
2. Product Characteristics
- Great compatibility with silicone polymer matrix, no blooming, no frosting and no oil separation. It will not cause fogging on transparent silicone parts.
- No negative impact on silicone’s original physical performance, including transparency, tensile strength, tear resistance and rebound elasticity.
- Excellent thermal stability, keeps stable under vulcanization temperature of 120℃ to 200℃ without yellowing or coking.
- Long-lasting permanent static dissipation, surface resistance stays stable within 10⁷~10¹⁰ Ω/sq.
- Tolerant to repeated dry friction and mild water washing, anti-static function will not fail easily.

5. Application Methods
Operation Steps for Liquid Internal Anti-Static Agent
- Weigh the agent according to 3%–5% of the total weight of silicone raw material.
- Add the anti-static agent into silicone Part A, stir at low speed for 5–10 minutes until fully mixed without delamination.
- Blend Part A with Part B following the original matching ratio of LSR silicone, then carry out injection, casting or extrusion vulcanization.
- Place molded silicone products at room temperature for 72 hours to achieve stable surface resistance data.
- Color paste can be added during mixing process, no flocculation or precipitation will occur.
Operation Steps for Powder Internal Anti-Static Agent
- Put raw silicone rubber, reinforcing silica filler and anti-static powder (5%–7% dosage) into kneader or two-roll mill.
- Conduct internal mixing under room temperature for 15–25 minutes to fully disperse powder without white spots.
- Add curing agent, release agent and color masterbatch, keep mixing until the compound is completely homogeneous.
- Compression mold at 160–190℃ with standard vulcanization cycle.
- Store finished silicone parts for 7 days before testing stable anti-static resistance.
6. Packaging Specifications
- Liquid type: 5kg plastic pail, 25kg plastic drum, 200kg HDPE barrel, 1000L IBC tote tank
- Powder type: 5kg fiber drum with PE inner liner, 15kg fiber drum, 20kg fiber drum
- Sample package: 1kg test barrel for trial testing
7. Storage Instructions
- Store in cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse, storage temperature controlled at 5℃ to 30℃.
- Keep containers tightly sealed all the time, avoid direct sunlight and ultraviolet radiation.
- Keep far away from open flame, high heat source, strong acid, strong alkali and oxidizing chemicals.
- Stack goods 10cm above ground, forbid upside-down placement and rain exposure.
- Tighten bucket lid immediately after each use to prevent moisture absorption and volatilization.
- Liquid products need heat preservation storage when ambient temperature below 0℃ in winter; slow thawing after freezing will not damage product performance.
- Shelf life: 12 months for unopened liquid products, 18 months for unopened powder products. Use up within 3 months once the package is opened.
8. Safety Notes
- This product is non-hazardous chemical, low skin irritation and non-corrosive.
- Wear nitrile gloves and safety goggles during operation to avoid long-time skin and eye contact.
- In case of liquid leakage, absorb with dry sand and flush the ground with clean water.
- Transport as ordinary general cargo, no hazardous goods transportation qualification required.
- Waste disposal: Dilute waste liquid with plenty of water before wastewater discharge; seal waste powder for standard landfill treatment.
